The Christian Public Service – “the workers are few”

May 8, 2016 – Monday

Matthew 9: 36-37 [NIV] When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.”

Have you ever been involved in a really big project at work? Now I’m not talking about day-to-day operations, I’m talking about the kind of project that takes a really large team of workers, each contributing a tremendously important part. The kind of project will have a lasting impact for years to come.

The workplace, “the harvest,” is plentiful but the workers are few we are running out of devotionals. To get His Word out to many in the workplace, we depend on volunteers to write the ONE-PAGE devotionals. Yes, the workers are few and we need your help.

I know that we just put out a call for assistance in writing the ONE-PAGE devotionals. Yet the cache of devotionals ready to be published is very low.

Will you assist in His harvest? Will you consider becoming one of the workers to help spread the Good News throughout the world especially in the workplace?

Don’t worry if you are not a good writer. Just rely on the Holy Spirit, submit your thoughts, and the editors will take it from there.

Yes, the workers are few, and we are running out of devotionals.

We need your help with the writing so that this ministry continues. We will never ask for financial tithing, but we ask for a tithing of devotionals.

If you are led, please contact any of the co-editors. You will receive a tip-sheet on how to write a ONE-PAGE devotional for The Christian Public Servant. The editors will help you!

Yes, the harvest is plentiful – people want and need Christian public servants, especially in the workplace, to spread the Good News. To do this, we need your help writing ONE-PAGE devotionals.

Simply put, the workers are few!

Won’t YOU consider joining the few, and submit a new ONE-PAGE devotional?

Father, we know that Your harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. If it is Your will that this ministry continues, we pray for volunteers – more workers to send devotionals. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
